Microsoft lunches new Windows 8 operating system

Microsoft as a hint to its next generation of its Windows operating system has revealed some facts. Windows 8 is designed to operate on tablet computers, desktop and laptop PCs. The application to be released in 2012 will work upon the popular ARM-designed low power processors, innovatively.    Thus OS is an effort by Microsoft to provide an alternative to Apple's iOS and Google's Android platforms. At the launch of Windows 8 at the Build developers' conference in California, Windows division president Steven Sino sky told : "We re-imagined Windows. From the chipset to the user experience."

Windows 8 has been designed with purpose to be employable on touchscreen devices. Its Chips are based on the ARM architecture as it use very little power, and therefore is used in majority of smartphones and tablets, at present.  Microsoft was facing competition since the Intel launch of its tablet and smartphone-focused Oak Trail chipset in April 2011. According to market experts, Global market for tablets would reach at 70 million this year and expected to reach at level of 300 million by 2015.
